GUIDELINES FOR POSTER PRESENTATIONS SGR-SSR

(EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC POSTERS)


Your poster must be submitted twice: First in electronical format to allow the poster evaluation and
then in a printed version at the congress itself.


GUIDELINES FOR THE ELECTRONICAL SUBMISSION OF YOUR POSTER

The deadline for the electronical submission is on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at midnight (CEST). Until
then, you can make changes and corrections at any time.


REQUIREMENTS

The poster must be in English, displayed on one page in Portrait-format and uploaded on the SmartAbstract
platform as a PDF. Animated effects and videos cannot be displayed.


RECOMMENDATIONS

It is recommended to export your print-poster as PDF for the upload. File formats for embedded images must
be .jpeg or .png in a resolution of 72 or 96 dpi.


NOTIFICATIONS (E-MAILS)

Please note that only the submitting (corresponding) author receives all notifications.
Make sure that emails from information@smart-abstract.com are not marked as spam by your email
provider.
The submitting (corresponding) author takes responsibility for informing all co-authors about successful
submission and forwards the received instructions for the presentation of the poster to the presenting author.

GUIDELINES FOR THE PRINTED FORM OF YOUR POSTERS

After the electronical submission, your poster must be printed and brought to the congress to be
displayed on the poster wall.


PLACEMENT AND DISPLACEMENT OF POSTERS

Placement: All posters must be mounted on Thursday, June 22, 2023, between 08:30 and 11:00 in order to
be considered for the SGR-SSR poster awards. The title of your poster will be indicated on the poster wall
where your poster should be mounted.

Displacement: Saturday, June 24, 2023, between 11:00 and 14:30.
Please note that the remaining posters will be discharged.


The printed poster format is A0, portrait.


SGR-SSR POSTER WALKING TOUR

TIME POSTER WALKING TOUR

Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 13:15-14:00.
There will be a “Poster Walking Tour” on Thursday, June 22, from 13:15-14:00. During this time, at least one
of the authors
must be present for discussion. The presence of one of the authors is a condition for the
eligibility of the poster for the poster prize. If none of the authors is present, the poster will not recieve the
prize and a different poster will be chosen.


POSTER PRIZE

There are two prizes for the scientific posters, i.e. summa cum laude and magna cum laude, and one prize
for the best educational poster. The evaluation of the posters by the poster jury will take place before the
Congress. The prizes will be awarded based on the decision of the poster jury. The ribbons will be placed on
the awarded posters after the Poster Walking Tour. Prize winners are invited stay for the informal photo
session
at the end of the Poster Walking Tour.
