Smart Abstract collects, processes and uses the personal data (e.g. name, address, e-mail address, telephone number) exclusively on behalf of the customer or the organizer or the agency commissioned for this purpose. The customer is responsible for compliance with data protection regulations as client pursuant to §28 of GDPR.
Any claims should therefore always be addressed to the supplier. This applies in particular to the data protection rights claims for information, correction, blocking or deletion. The respective provider provides information on how he uses personal data, including using the Smart Abstract technical platform, independently (for example in a separate data protection statement).

Smart Abstract secures its websites and other systems by means of technical and organizational measures against the loss, destruction, access, modification or dissemination of your data by unauthorized persons.
Access to the user account (profile) is only possible after entering the personal password. The password for the Smart Abstract Account is stored only encrypted. The user has to keep the password protected from access by third parties. The user should close the browser window when communication with Smart Abstract has been terminated, especially if the computer in question is shared with others.
If a password has been forgotten, the user can use the function "Forgotten password?" To send a link to the known e-mail address from Smart Abstract, which is used to confirm a new password. The link is only valid for 24 hours. We would like to point out that a new password should be set under "Login data" after the login with the new password and the "Profile" menu item (at the top right of the website).
